Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara
Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN) or National Water Services Commission is a technical and economic regulatory body for the water supply and sewerage services in Malaysia according to Water Services Industry Act 2006 (Act 655) which was enforced on 1 January 2008.
Products installs in main drinking water system require to register with SPAN, and product testing is a mandatory pre-requisite of the registration. Applicants require to attach product test report as an attachment with the application.

Testing laboratory such as Standardmark Laboratory provides accredited testing services on products for submitting organisations, where test report will be submitted to SIRIM QAS International and SPAN for product approval purposes.
